He is thus a type (picture) of the Gentile-powers as a whole that would follow him. This dream of Nebuchadnezzar concerned himself, but as the first ruler of ‘Babylon’ for the Times of the Gentiles, he also represents the whole Gentile rule of these Times. It concerns a second dream which Daniel interpreted. This whole chapter is a tract written by Nebuchadnezzar for everyone to read (v1) telling of his conversion to the God of Israel (v37). ![]() ![]()
